What is Tieban Shenshu?
Tieban Shenshu ("Iron Plate Divine Numbers") is a classical Chinese numerology traditionally attributed to Shao Yong of the Song dynasty. It splits each two-hour period into eight quarter-hours (96 per day), derives numbers from your Four Pillars, verifies the exact quarter-hour through verses about your parents' zodiac signs, then looks up matching verses from a canon of about 12,000 classical lines.
How this reading works
Your clock time is converted to true solar time for your birthplace, the Four Pillars are cast, and the classical "Tai Xuan" numbers of the stems and branches select a hexagram. One verse is drawn for each of 12 life areas; unlocking adds plain-language explanations.
FAQ
Is it accurate?
Accuracy depends on verifying the quarter-hour. The more the parents' zodiac verses match reality, the more meaningful the reading.
